Advanced Feature
Remote Thermostat Mode

EMS Thermostat Mode remotely replaces a failed local thermostat, keeping a system cooling a vacant property until a technician arrives. Preconditions verified before activation:

  • Fuse confirmed OK — 24V not blown
  • Float switch in normal position — no drain clog
  • Pressures and motor operation confirmed via remote bidirectional testing
  • Confirmed: no call for cool from local thermostat — thermostat failure verified
  • Thermostat Mode activated with agreed setpoint — system keeps cooling until on-site repair
